Cingular locked? Hits the US in June? Hits Asia 2008? WTF man!?!?!?! Here I am stuck with my XDAII, which is a few months away from giving up on me totally (it has been acting strange the past half-year already) I was considering getting an Atom, but decided to wait it out because:
So I decided on waiting it out – and they pull this crap! Now I’ll be forced to upgrade my phone to something other than the iPhone in the meantime out of necessity, then spend again on it out of true purpose. The only consolation I may have is the fact that since there’s the iPhone, mobile prices will surely drop. Though it can go the other way as well, since it’s still not going to hit the shelves anytime soon, now could be a good time for price-gouging (at least in the Philippines). I truly hope it would be the former so I wouldn’t feel bad spending on a new phone that isn’t the iPhone. Why God, WHY!? |
I know what you mean dude. But then again, perhaps by the time they actually release it in the Asia-Pac region, it’ll have more features (maybe a better cam with more than 2MP, bigger memory, etc…). I’ve been putting off getting an iPod (I’m one of those guys that refuses to get one) for this. Looks like I’ll have to wait a bit longer and my k800i has to work a few more years.
