Got this from Jeline. I kinda guessed at some answers since I really wasn’t in the mood to actually measure some stuff1

Take the quiz here

Anyways, some people may say it’s time to change… I say it’s time to get our asses into space and colonize some planets!

Besides, in terms of supply and demand, why is it that we have to cut on our consumption… why not cut on population? If it wasn’t for the fact that we are over-populated, this kind of lifestyle wouldn’t be an issue. I’m sure we can come up with a couple of billion people who don’t deserve to live in this world hehehe.

    1. Like how many square meters our home is, or how many miles per liter our cars run at.

Haay, sinabi mo. If we cut on some of our consumption (say, food), we’d be malnourished. Tapos ang daming tao na anak nang anak pero wala namang suporta. I really get irritated at this because Dex and I are holding off having kids till we’d be better equipped to give them good lives. Kaya I don’t give alms. Gusto kong magalit sa mga nanay ng mga batang manlilimos, haha.

Ain’t that the truth!

Ako din I don’t give alms because those beggars are more opportunistic than anything else.

Sa states nakakakita ako ng homeless na nakatayo holding up a sign of an apartment for sale (obviously paid to do so). To me, that’s a decent way to “beg” – kasi you’re willing to EARN the money kahit papaano.

Dito hindi eh, hihingi lang sila… plus makulit pa – lalong lalo na yang mga sampaguita vendors; kinatok mo na kukulitin ka pa.

What we usually do pag ganoong beggars, is we bring snacks in the car and give them that. If they appreciate it, then you can feel good that you helped them – if they don’t (because they would rather have money), then you KNOW they’re just being opportunistic – and don’t have to feel bad NOT giving them money :)

… and don’t get me started on the people who offer to “guard” your car even if you’re parked in a perfectly safe area.

Hay buhay.

Hehe! Lalo na those who’ll suddenly appear out of nowhere when you’re backing out your car from the parking space. I wanna run them over… Haha! Ang sama! Lumalabas ang sungay :)
