I added a little “feature” on my site; links to all my Social networking accounts (or anything remotely related to “networking”). You should see it in the author box at the homepage. If you have accounts on any of those sites, don’t hesitate to add me. I promise to unconditionally accept regardless if I know you or not… except for Facebook, since I try to at least keep that for people I really know.

Despite having all these accounts, It’s worth mentioning that almost none of them are being actively updated (apart from Flickr and YouTube for storage reasons - and I’ve got Multiply and LiveJournal being updated automagically). The reason why I took the time to register, even if I don’t plan to using them, was so I could have first dibs on the “nargalzius” monicker/handle on those sites.

I used to have a MySpace account back in the day; I eventually cancelled it because, as I’ve said, I’m not really into the whole social networking thing. Then I realized that “nargalzius” could be taken by someone else - so I tried signing up again today… just as I thought, it was taken (by some Mexican… not that there’s anything wrong with that).

So now, someone else has got the “nargalzius” handle on AIM, MySpace, YouTube, and fucking GMail1… which is why from now on, I’ll make it a point to sign up on every goddamn popular new fad site - regardless if I plan to use it or not.

Next project would be figuring out a way to automatically notify all of those accounts by just posting in my main blog, if possible at all.

  1. Which sucks since I was one of the lucky people who got invites when it was still by invitation - but for some bonehead reason I decided to use a different username even if nargalzius was still available at the time.
