Name that tune (and where it came from)

This “quickie” is dedicated to the children of the 80s. If you were truly part of that era, and are anywhere near “cool” you should know this song. If you know where that song came from, you’ll understand why it was that short. I believe it was written by Jesse Frederocl amd Bennett Salvay and performed by David Pomeranz It was one of my favorite “feel-good songs” though; so much so, that we used it for soundchecks in our college band. The arrangement I did is very straightforward. Three guitar tracks; one main rhythm, another solely for plucking lines, then the last for whatever fills and extra “character” needed. Then I just put a simple backing vocal track to make it sound a bit “bigger” (for lack of a better term) Still can’t remember? Maybe this will jog your memory. And btw, the key I did wasn’t intentional. I have the song in my iTunes and for some reason it was half a key lower… I got to watch it on YouTube after I recorded it hahahaha. |

Ok so there’s a lot of hullaballoo about the new iPhones being dirt cheap. 200USD is cheap assuming you can get a unit at that…
