All the same, this Valentine’s day was pretty unique for Cris and myself.

Bruno, Len, Elaine, Paul, Len’s cousins and their respective significant others had joined The North Face couple’s run which was held early today at Nuvali. They (the runners) had planned to crash at Bruno’s Tagaytay home right before the race (since the race started 6am the next day)

Since Cris, Mara, Mark, Alan, Teejay and myself thought that we could bike in the area while the runners did their thing, Cris and I decided to bring our bikes and tag along to Tagaytay and meet up with the rest of the bikers during the event.

We woke up 4am the next day, went straight to Nuvali, Sta. Rosa and proceeded to have a very fulfilling V-day for both bikers and runners of the group.

Runners started at 6 and Mara and Mark arrived about the same time. We then proceeded to do the fourcross course, then explored the trails. Unfortunately we had to leave the trails proper since they were still “reserved” for the running event. So we instead proceeded to go around this subdivision that was still under development. We ended with another run at the fourcross¹ before meeting up with the runners, and having a hefty brunch.
