Day Eight of the 10-day meme

I’m ashamed to say that I’ve always been the type of person who believed in the saying “help yourself before you help others.” So “helping others,” with the exception of those close/dear to me, was never one of my priorities. Interestingly enough, I find myself doing stuff “out of character” ¹ Yes, that means doing good deeds from time to time.

In any case, I’m drawing blanks on the actual official requirement, but I guess the next best thing is to just mention what I hope for our communities – without necessarily having to do something about it.

1. That people use logic over sentiment (especially during elections)
2. That rich people stop being too damn greedy – to the point of using their power/influence to find ways to be even more greedy at the expense of those less fortunate than they are.
3. That people realize a balance between secularism and faith can be achieved.
